5 Weight Loss Secrets To Explode Your Progress

I have been getting emails from readers wanting to know the scoop on how to get into shape fast without all the fluff, and slew of supplements that some of the latest gurus' are spouting off just to fatten up their bank accounts.

I plan on going into depth more about each one at a later date, but for now to appease the crowd of people wanting to know right aways here ya go. There are more than just five main secrets to losing weight but these are a great start. If you just implement one of these a week then you'll start seeing results immediately!!

1. Exercise in the morning on an empty stomach.

It doesn't matter if it's only ten flipping minutes.... Just do something! Why? Your body will be forced to break down fat cells for energy. If you exercise later in the day then your body will use the available energy of the food you ate instead of stored fat, because it takes a lot more energy to use fat reserves verse recently broken down energy from food...

That's a nut shell overview of this idea... more later. But if you absolutely can't then please do some type of exercise anytime of the day.

2. Incorporate some type of weightlifting into your workout.

Studies have shown over and over again that people with more muscle mass stay leaner longer and lose weight at a much faster pace than others.

3. Stay away from diets like the plague...

Yes, that is correct. If you want to gain more weight back like the other 98% of the population who has ever gone on a diet....then sure go ahead and go on a diet. Diets are short lived and cause pain. Make a life style change. Slowly but surely do whatever it takes to just start eating more healthy.

4. Have your last meal 3-4 hours before bedtime and eat 5-6 meals a day.

Eating before bed is a sure-fire way to gain weight, and by eating smaller meals your body uses up the energy instead of storing it as fat.

5. VISUALIZE and FEEL how you are going to look and feel.

This is probably one of the most important concepts because if you can't see and FEEL yourself the way that you want to be then you will NEVER achieve it. You have to convince your subconscious mind that you are serious about losing the weight otherwise it will sabotage all of you efforts inweightloss.

You can buy all the supplements you want and they may work for a short while but then your subconscious will put you right back where it thinks your should be. Don't believe me, then fine, just look at your past success with weight loss. I seriously believe that if you don't believe you are worthy of having a great sexy body or whatever, then you will self sabotage yourself unconsciously.

This is a whole other ball of wax here, but I do plan on going more in depth in later days. But for now, simply write down how you would feel and look on a piece of paper, and spend 2-3 minutes in the morning and night 'Feeling and Visualizing' this.

Like I mentioned above, just pick one of the above mentioned tips to start seeing results.Then the next day or week pick another one to implement and before you know it, you'll be into the grove of losing weight easily and naturally and you will not even have to think about it because it will just be on autopilot. But the important concept here is taking action. Do something and stick with it. But just do something, if you can only exercise twice a week for only 10 minutes then do it.

Weight Loss: The Key to Discipline

Recently, two co-workers of mine were discussing their weight loss efforts and part of that conversation stuck with me. One of them said, "It sure is a lot harder to lose weight than it is to gain it." The other one answered, "Yeah, thats because gaining weight is fun." I laughed with them, because there is some truth to that statement.

Yes, it can be fun to eat with abandonment and not think about whether what you are eating is healthy or not; it is only the consequences that are painful. Examples of shorter term consequences are pain in your stomach, indigestion, and sluggishness. The longer term consequences are high blood pressure, heart disease, and shortness of breath. Seeing your appearance change for the worse is painful too. Focusing on these consequences is key to developing self-discipline.

Discipline is necessary to achieve your weight loss goals and any goal that you want to achieve in life. After all, you dont have to employ discipline to do those things that you enjoy. For example, I wouldnt have to discipline myself to eat chocolate bars because I enjoy them, however I do have to discipline myself to limit them in my life. How do I do it? Discipline requires two skills: Desire and diversion.

Desire means that you have to want the goal that your discipline will help you achieve more than anything. For example, I wanted to lose weight and get healthy more than I wanted the chocolate bars. Each time I desired the chocolate bar, I had to remind myself of the alternate goal and make it real and vivid. I had to see myself with that goal already achieved and experience the pleasure of it. I had to make that pleasure more intense than the pleasure I imagined I would receive from eating the chocolate bar.

The second skill is diversion, which is simply engaging in an activity that diverted my attention away from the undesirable activity. In the chocolate bar example, I had to either give myself something that I would enjoy eating that was healthier for me or perform an alternate activity that would help me better meet my needs. For example, if I was angry, eating a chocolate bar would not help me, but taking a long walk to cool off likely would.

My co-worker was right: For many of us, losing weight is harder than gaining it. But we need to remind ourselves that, although it is harder to lose weight, it is not impossible. It is also worth the effort. Then we use our key of discipline to help us achieve what we want. It is the only way to get the body that we deserve.

Most weight loss programs include some insane long lasting exercises that burn your fat so that you can regain that fat later again. Others include insane weird diets where you must condition yourself to eat in a specific way, almost like a robot of this society.

Some of the programs include both of those, which in my opinion is a good idea, for as long as the program lasts, because once it finishes you gain that fat again. There are almost no programs that make you lose your fat and make it stay away. I said "almost" because there is at least one program that does all this.

Most of the programs focus on losing fat right at the moment, they almost forget that fat comes back again. They tend to focus ONLY on losing fat, forgetting how to prevent it from rebuilding. This sounds almost like you have to work forever to keep your fat away. Well, guess what, all you have to do is live your life almost like you always have.

All you have to change are a few little simple things that will change your life forever. If you live your life the exact way you always have you will get the same results you have always gotten. Would you better live with all the problems fat causes or take action and do something about it? Would you better change all your life to live like a robot and get some results or change a little your life and get much more results?

juice 4 carrots, 1 apple, 2 celery ribs, a cup wheatgrass or parsley together.
The carrots and the apple will sweeten this juice naturally.

My favorite summer drink:
refreshing cucumber juice

Fresh Raw Herbal Juice
Wheatgrass is very rich in nutrients, especially chlorophyll and antioxidants.
It is nature's gift to help detoxify the body.
If wheatgrass is not available, try parsley.

The juice of Wheatgrass and parsley are very healthy but not very palatable.
The best is to mix them with fresh carrot juice or fresh apple juice.

If you feel adventurous try to juice together wheatgrass, spinach and apples.

You will need a special juicer to juice herbs. Not all juicer can juice herbs.
Personally I use the green power juicer and I find it very efficient but a little difficult to clean. Definitely the best juicer I had to extract herbs' juice.

I am a 35 year old 250 pound female (one month ago I was 260 pounds). I have battled with weight loss from the age of eight years old. After reading and researching and implementing I recognized a few things needed to win the battle and I will share them with you.

DO NOT hate your fat cells. They are wonderful. They are designed for an important function. They make fat from sugar and fatty acids. If they need more room for storage space, they expand. If they need still more, they make new cells and fill them with fat. They are marvels at storing energy in the form of fat. Its their specialty. In one pound they can store 3,500 calories, though the liver can pack only 250 calories in a pound of its energy-storage medium, glycogen.

Fat cells receive and obey signals. They cushion vital organs. They release their energy upon demand, supplying it as fuel for the bodys working cells. At times they receive emergency signals and spring into action. When sent life-threatening messages, they take lifesaving measures. They start hoarding their fat, holding it in reserve for the impending crisis.

It is now clear that fat plays an important, though incompletely understood role, in the bodys immune system. Fat cells can receive a false message and misinterpret it as a crisis; a crash diet may send fat cells the same message as would famine or starvation. Instead of fat breaking down, it is actually conserved, curtailing the release of calories to a trickle. But the fat cells have no way of knowing the difference. They react as they were designed to react. They hoard their energy for what they foresee as a future and more crucial need than the present. Parents magazine for March 1987 offers a possible explanation: The more often you dietthe more frequently your body senses youre gearing up for a faminethe more resistant the fat cells become to releasing their precious commodity. The body intervenes to cope with the current crisis by turning muscle into glucosethe brain must have its glucose or the whole organism will close shop! But you do not want to lose muscle; you want to lose fat. Crash diets are not the winning way. Then what is? The areas where you store your body fat show the influence of the subtle hormonal balance within the body. This fact can be used to predict which foods will more likely cause weight gain and diminish your health.

Different people store their body fat in different areas. It may be that you store your fat on your stomach only, just below your waist or maybe all over your body, your hands,face included. In general there are four major fat storage patterns in women and three in men. This is caused by the dominance of the endocrine glands within the body; Thyroid, adrenal, pituitary or ovaries (women only). Each person has one gland that is more dominant than the others. The broad patterns of fat storage are unique, see if you can spot someone who holds their fat mostly on the stomach and hips only, others who store it all over their body, some just below the waist only and finally people who store it on their back, chest stomach and hips.
