How To Lose 10 Pounds of Belly Fat Fast

Here's how to lose 10 pounds of belly fat fast... but I need to be clear first. It's not as simple as taking the latest over-hyped diet pill that doesn't work. But, it's not as hard as you're lead to believe.

All that is required are a few small changes to your daily routine. These changes won't add to the stresses and busyness of your life... instead, they'll fit right into your routine.

First, you're going to need to use your "down time" such as tv commercials to exercise. Is that asking much? I don't think so. You won't even need to go to the gym if you just follow these 2-minute tv commercial mini-workouts.

I prefer that you jump on a mini-trampoline for the 2 minutes of commercials. But if you want to do other exercises, go for it. Now, if you watch a lot of tv (don't lie, we all do), then this is perfect for you. Take a 1-hour tv show and exercise during the 22 or so minutes that are commercials.

These 2-minute sessions are great for training your metabolism to work at a faster pace. Do them enough and your body basically says "Ok, you win, this is how it's going to be, I see... I'll speed up your metabolism to burn more calories for energy".

Next, you need to eat breakfast. Need to! I don't care if you're not hungry, eat anyway. Just remember this 1 simple fact... 80% of fat people skip breakfast while 80% of skinny people eat breakfast. Enough said. So eat breakfast. I recommend 3-4 scrambled eggs and maybe a half can of black beans. If necessary, just wake up 10 minutes earlier to cook and eat. That's not a big change.

Last, eat healthy snacks.

I'll even let you slide on eating bad foods during lunch and dinner, but you have to eat healthy snacks. Healthy snacking helps you to eat less of those bad foods during meals. My favorite choices are apples, grapefruit, beef jerky, a slice of cheese wrapped around a dill pickle, and string cheese.

Even if you eat some fruit and whole grain cereal with skim milk for breakfast and a garden salad with low calorie dressing for lunch, you are eating healthy while staying on schedule.

Avoid Eating on the Run

Our fast lifestyles today are forcing many of us to grab something quick and eat at our desks or in the car. In many cases that means we are not eating meals that are healthy nor are we allowing ourselves to take the time to sit down and enjoy a leisurely meal. Eating a piece a fruit while in the car may not hurt too much but that piece of fruit will eventually turn into a high calorie pastry for breakfast and a fast food trip for lunch to save time. 3 Weight Loss Mistakes

There are literally tons of information and articles about losing weight. Believe it or not, people still make the same dieting mistakes over and over again. I am not referring to little slip ups. When this happens the entire process is ruined and the diet is over. So what they do is go to the store and replace all the things that they threw out in the first place.

If this is your approach to dieting then it is necessary to ask yourself some difficult questions. What exactly is the purpose of your diet? Do you want to lose this weight permanently? Perhaps you just wish to lose a few pounds. The secret here is to make lifestyle changes in your diet. This way you create a slow and regular means of losing weight.

The second mistake is the attitude of sacrifice. Many people see their diet as some sort of sacrifice. It is easy to see why. You are not allowing yourself to eat the foods that you enjoy the most while attempting to achieve your target weight. This is what happens. You have done your research. You have come up with well thought out diet that you can do. You can successfully lose that weight and achieve your target weight. Okay! Now what? You have reached your goal. The third mistake is goal failure. Defining your goals is essential with your weight loss program. Your goals should be crystal clear. They must be realistic. You should write them down. You probably have an ideal weight in mind when you begin. If you are more than a few pounds overweight, this goal is probably too far away to be helpful. A more practical goal is to lose 2 pounds per week for the first several weeks. After that, 1 pound per week. Of course, this will vary from week to week. However, when you track your progress you will observe that you are consistently moving toward your goal.

Do not worry if you have been making any of these mistakes. Just like everything else in life, it important to learn your lesson and to move on. The truth is that we learn more from our failures than we do from our successes. Do not let your mistakes to be an excuse for giving up. Success comes from making a commitment and by being persistent.
